JAMMU : Bio Science Club of Government College of Education (GCOE), Jammu on Thursday organized an exhibition of ‘Innovative Science Models’.
In the exhibition, students of B.Ed participated and showcased their innovative science models.
The main purpose of organising this Science Model Exhibition was to educate the pupil teachers to improvise and innovate the science models to teach the basic concepts of General Science.
Principal of the College, Dr. Kulvinder Kour lauded the efforts of the students and Convener of the Bio-Science Club Dr. Jyoti Parihar appreciated the role of these innovations to understand the new trends in teaching and learning of Science.
She encouraged the students to show their talent via such exhibitions. Faculty of the College also attended the Bio-Science Exhibition.
Prof. Anju Bala, Dr. Rajinder Kour and Prof K. K. Magotra were the jury members for the event.
First position was bagged by Shavani, second by Rinchen Dolkar and third position was shared by Pallvee Manhas and Priya Khajuria.
Consolation prizes were awarded to Mehak Khajuria, Richa Sharma and Rakhi. Certificate of participation was also presented to all the participants.
A vote of thanks was presented by Student Convener, Arushi Sharma.
