Chandigarh, August 13 – Under the Amrit Mahotsav of Independence, Bharatiya Janata Party took out a huge Tiranga Yatra under the leadership of Haryana Home and Health Minister Shri Anil Vij in Ambala Cantonment on Sunday. In the Yatra, Home Minister Anil Vij was full of enthusiasm with patriotism and he held the tricolor in his hand and raised slogans of ‘Bharat Mata Ki Jai’ and ‘Vande Mataram’.
Thousands of people and workers took part in the Tiranga Yatra which started from Subhash Park in Ambala Cantonment. The entire city became tricolor during the yatra. There was tremendous enthusiasm among the party workers about the yatra and they danced to the tunes of patriotic songs throughout the yatra. Starting from Subhash Park, the Tiranga Yatra passed through different markets of Ambala Cantonment and ended at PWD Rest House.

Thousands of workers participated enthusiastically with the tricolor in the Tiranga Yatra. Along with Home Minister Anil Vij, a convoy of thousands of vehicles went on the yatra. Flowers were showered to welcome the Tiranga Yatra, while fireworks were burst at some places. In many markets including Outer Larger Road, Pul Chameli, Kasera Bazar, Nicholson Road, people welcomed by showering flowers on the yatra from the roofs of houses. Shopkeepers in Kesra market and other markets welcomed the yatra by bursting fireworks.

During the Tiranga Yatra, Home Minister Anil Vij saluted the tricolor. Stopping at various places, he congratulated the shopkeepers on this amrit mahotsav of independence and accepted their greetings. He called upon the shopkeepers to participate enthusiastically in this mahotsav and hoist the tricolor on their houses and shops. At many places in the markets, shopkeepers welcomed Home Minister Anil Vij by garlanding him with flowers and showering flowers.

At the same time, interaction with media persons, Home Minister Anil Vij said that today on the call of Modi ji, Tiranga Yatra is being organised across the country. Our languages, regions and traditions may be different, but the tricolor is the pride and glory of all, our flag should remain high, whether it is any region, borders or whether it is about landing a vehicle on the moon in space, our flag should remain high in every field.
Vij said that when we came to power, we were at number 10 economy and now we are at number five. In the next five years, we will be among the top three economies of the world. Prime Minister Narendra Modi has taken a pledge to make India a developed nation by 2047. May our tricolor remain high in every region, to express this feeling, yatras are organized all over the country and all the countrymen are requested to bring their tricolor and hoist it in shops and homes to tell that we are all united under the tricolor, he said.
On the other hand, Home Minister Anil Vij countered the protest by the opposition and said that protesting is a part of democracy, but betraying the enemies is another matter. If our opposition leaders speak the language of China, Pakistan or other countries on many issues then it definitely hurts.
