Chandigarh 10th May : Jasbir Singh Khairwal has been elected as a president of The Chandigarh Boxing Players Welfare association for the term of four years . He is former National Boxing champion of year 1988, being a boxing player he is doing his best effort to uplift the boxing game and helping the budding boxing players of the Chandigarh.
After elected as a president Mr Jasbir announced that association will orgnise a prize money boxing tournament to promote boxing and to promote boxing in a grass route level we will go to rural area and slum area of Chandigarh. We will conduct talent hunt programme and many senior players are ready to give free coaching to the rural and slum players.
