May 3 : The CBSE on Tuesday announced that the AIEEE, earlier held on May 1 following some delay on account of paper leak, will now be held at 9.30 am on May 11 instead of May 8 as had been declared earlier. The re-test is being held for all those candidates at five examination centres in the city where the AIEEE exam had to be cancelled on May 1 since the delay on account of paper leak had led to it clashing with the entrance exam of the Armed Forces Medical College (AFMC). The CBSE announced that the same roll numbers and centres would apply in the case of these students. However, candidates who skipped the AIEEE to appear in the AFMC exam or could not appear in the AIEEE on May 1 for administrative reasons were required to register online on the CBSE website. The candidates who had registered for the online mode of the examination for the AIEEE but did not appear would also be required to register online though they would now have to appear for a pen and paper test only. Those who had already appeared for May 1 exam have been warned against re-registering warning that such candidates risked their candidature being cancelled.
