Chief Minister Shri Shivraj Singh Chouhan has announced to provide social security pension in just 55 years of age to those couples of the state, who have only daughters. Shri Chouhan made this announcement at tribal-dominant Balaghat district on Saturday. Shri Chouhan has himself unveiled the secret behind this announcement by saying that Balaghat district stands first in the number of daughters in the entire state. Here, no discrimination is made between sons and daughters.Making this announcement in Balegaon village in Balaghat district, Chief Minister Shri Chouhan said that in this speciality the district is a leading light not only for the state, but also for the country.
It may be mentioned that according to Census-2011 estimates, there are 1021 females per 1000 males in Balaghat district, which is highest female sex ratio in the state. Not only this, the literacy rate of 78.3 percent in Balaghat district is also highest among the tribal-dominant districts of Madhya Pradesh.
