13 Oct : Bharatiya Janata Party Mahila Morcha, Chandigarh celebrated the birth anniversary of Rajmata Vijayraje Scindia under the leadership of its President Smt. Asha Jaswal.
Mahila Morcha activists gathered at Girls Hostel Blind Institute, Sector 26, Chandigarh where floral tributes were paid to Rajmata Vijayraje Scindia. The girl students of the institute presented bhajans on this occasion.
BJP Mahila Morcha President Smt. Asha Jaswal honoured Ms. Prem Girdhar, the social worker who is managing the Hostel for her selfless services to the blind children.
Prominent party activists who were present on the occasion include BJP Vice President Smt. Heera Negi, Satinder Dhawan, Manju Gupta, Sunita Dhawan, Usha Sharma, Santosh Sharma, Renu Bala, Anu Makkar, NGO Cell Convener Neena Tiwari, Priya Gulati, Nisha Sharma and others.
While addressing the activists Smt. Asha Jaswal said that Rajmata Vijayraje Scindia was a great thinker, politician and social reformer. She has contributed a lot for the development of girl child and worked for their education. While celebrating her birth anniversary we should pledge to follow her principles.
