By Shilpi : Sanjeev Nanda with a dream to turn businesses into empires, embarked into the world of entrepreneurship; and as professionals were put together to manage the show, Nanda stepped in to play the role of ‘managing the managers’ while focusing equally on business development. A Businessman with a vision, Nanda has been successful in every venture he has stepped into.
“Challenges are a process of learning. The idea is not to bow down and give up, but take them as a cue to work harder to achieve the goals one has set for himself. I try to ensure that I do not get distracted, but stay committed to my dream of making my businesses the best in the country” said Sanjeev Nanda once philosophically about his life. Life has not been a cakewalk for Sanjeev Nanda but with the kind of dynamism he has, he is sure to make it big.
Peep into the lives of successful and famous and one will find phases of darkness or suffering. These phases often leave their mark in the form of invaluable learning’s, as painful times help in surfacing the best of person’s values and virtues.
Owing to the hue and cry created by Media, Sanjeev’s name on the internet invariably pops up the infamous BMW hit-and-run case. What very few are able to see is that he has suffered enough for his unintentional mistake, that he compensated the victims to their satisfaction and faced the trial in the hope of justice. It was only in 2009, 10 years after the unfortunate incident, that Justice Kailash Gambhir reduced Nanda’s sentence after terming it a case of negligence rather than culpable homicide. Whoever has met Sanjeev, believes that he has been punished more than enough.
Sanjeev Nanda, who graduated from The Wharton School, one of the finest business schools in the US, has the calibre and vigour to put the past as past and look ahead to opportunities and blessings that life has to offer. Media hue and cry will always be there, but for the people who know Sanjeev Nanda well and have worked with him, he will always be an exemplary businessman, a great friend & family man and above all a good human being.
Hi Shilpi, i have been reading ur articles about Sanjeev Nanda for quite some time now, i must say, it really changed my perception about him. He is a nice man, a very well established businessman, and great family guy. He is doing well i hope now that he is out and free.
I agree with the views mentioned. Sanjeev Nanda has been punished enough time to move on.
Hmm nice too the conversation heating up….too many supporters here.
I may not support all that Sanjeev Nanda does but any disagreeable thing he does when compared to the depth of his talent and consistency in deliverance, his ability to bounce back from intense lows to dizzying heights, well, there is no comparison really. Anyone else in his place of unimaginable success would have lost his mind, taken things for granted, become arrogant etc etc. But his supreme humility humbles everyone around him.
In a competitive world, education is the stepping stone to success, a fact considered while grooming a successor. Sanjeev Nanda graduated from The Wharton School in 1999, having majored in finance and management. After completing his education, he returned to India and worked as head of sales at Commerce One India, implementing and executing several turnkey projects. Today, he employs a lot of people and is a leader of many projects in diverse industries.

yup, Sanjeev Nanda is an exceptional businessman who has proved himself from time to time. As his family says life has been harsh on him, but then life is not a bed of roses and one who can withstand all troubles is the one who emerges as the winner. Sanjeev Nanda is a winner.
I agree with the author. Media hype was the main reason why the accident got more publicity than his career achievements. Sanjeev Nanda is an exceptional businessman who has what it takes to make a company reach its pinnacle.
Sanjeev Nanda has indeed been successful in every venture he has stepped into. With his knowledge and business acumen he is sure to strike gold.
