Bhopal:Sunday, July 26 : Old City and Lower Lake will also be beautified for which process will be undertaken to widen roads and crossings and inflow of dirty water from drains and nullah into Lower Lake will be blocked. With this in view, Urban Administration and Development Minister Shri Babulal Gaur visited Kamla Park, Ginnauri, Budhwara, Itwara, Mangalwara Chowk, Ghora Nakhas, Nadra bus stand, Alpana Talkies trisection, railway platform No. 4 and Lily Talkies road and gave necessary instructions to officers. Bhopal Municipal Corporation commissioner Shri Manish Singh, city commissioner Shri Bedekar, incharge chief engineer Public Works Shri Mehra, executive engineer Public Health Engineering Shri MK Shrivastava, vice-president of MP Sports Council Shri Om Yadav and officers of municipal corporation, CPA and Forest Department.
First of all, Shri Gaur visited areas near Kamla Park and instructed to start the parking facility there within two days and install benches on the lake shores for visitors. In Ginnauri, he instructed to widen the road and complete beautification of locality’s park within a month.
During the visit of Itwara and Budhwara, the Urban Administration and Development Minister held talks with people and then instructed for shifting of existing meat market into the new building soon. He instructed for preparation of a master plan of Mangalwara and Budhwara crossings, widening of roads, construction of drains and shifting small time vendors doing business of roadsides to alternative site. He also instructed for shifting of tempo stand of Itwara crossing.
Shri Gaur also visited Nadra Bus Stand and inspected the ongoing beautification work there. He instructed the officers to widen the road between Ice Factory and Kali Mandir so that road towards railway platform No. 4 can be widened.
