Chandigarh: 1st Aug 2009: S.N.A. unit of Swift Institute of Nursing, Vill. Ghaggar Sarai, Teh. Rajpura, Distt. Patiala celebrated its first ‘Teej Festival’ on 31st July 2009. The celebration commenced with Mehndi and Rangoli competition at 1.00 pm. The creations of the students were evaluated by experts in the field. The various delegates and dignitary guests such as Mr. V.K. Dwivedi (CEO, SFRES), Dr. S. Tyagi (Dean, SFRES), Mr. H.S. Aneja (Project Manager, SFRES), Dr. Saroj Sharma (Director / Principal, Swift Institute of Nursing) and Ms. Himjyoti Dhir (Asst. Prof., Swift School of Pharmacy) graced the function with their presence.
After that students took initiative and actively participated in cultural program by putting up (Punjabi Solo Song and Gidha). The talent of the students was appreciated by all our dignitaries. Ms. Parabhjot Kaur bagged first prize in Mehndi and Ms. Monika Cheema won first prize for Rangoli competition. Ms. Jasmeet Kaur was facilitated as Ms. Teej. The program was successfully accomplished by offering delicious refreshments of ‘Khir- Purhe’ to all the family members of SFRES present for the function.
I love so much to Rajpura Punjab India and Its wonderful when I have visited at Ghaggar Sarai IndSwift Nursing home.
