Chandigarh, November 17th, 2011: During her India visit, Southbank Institute of Technology of Australia, Ms. Robyn Tyler, Director disclosed their Indian entry plans and focus on vocational education sector. Southbank Institute of Technology (SBIT) the largest educational institute of Queensland Government to establish a pan India Vocational Training business to service the growing needs for qualified staff in the retail, hair and beauty industry.
Southbank Institute will jointly roll out the various courses in association with Franchise India Holdings, Asia’s largest franchise solutions company. The coming together of Franchise India Holdings , Asia’s largest franchise solutions company, and Southbank Institute of Technology, one of Australia’s leading vocation training organisations and linked to the Queensland Government, is a significant step in addressing the shortage of quality vocational training in India.
