“With one click for online-admission form the Guru Jambheshwar University of Science and Technology has added its name in the state to mark a new beginning in saving trees through active use of technology.” announced Prof Tankeshwar Kumar, Vice Chancellor while inaugurating first online-admission form for Doctorate of Philosophy on the University Website on the campus today. “If university is able to save one ton of paper in its functioning it can save nearly 24 trees. We are committed to save thousands form now and onwards” Vice-Chancellor emphasized further.
In a major beginning towards reducing carbon footprints and initiating ‘Zero Waste Functioning’ the Vice Chancellor, Guru Jambheshwar University has launched its first online admission form of Doctorate of Philosophy and appealed University employees in Reducing, Reusing and Refusing waste generation. The university aims to cut down dependency on paper for admissions process and added more direct facilities for the students that includes downloading admission brochure(www.gjust.ac.in) and uploading of application form, registration number generation, e-filling of fee and a special helpdesk in assisting students in filling up of application form. He congratulated Head University Computer & Informatics Centre Mukesh Kumar and his team for their efforts.
The information brochure will be available online from 10/12/15. The last date of submission of online application form is 1/01/16. The all India level Entrance Test for 90 Ph.D seats from 18 different departments will be held on fourth of JANUARY 2016.
