Mohali 16 Oct: Young Reporters from Shemrock Senior Sec. School, sector 69 Mohali interviewed Former Ms.India and Actress, Nafisa Ali. The kids interviewed her on behalf of the Children’s Film Society of India for its 19th International Children’s Film Festival. Anushka Singh of Shemrock School has been nominated as little director’s competition section as one of the 30 films nominated from world over. The festival will held in Hyderabad from 14-20 Nov and over 15 kids from the tricity will represent as delegate to Celebrate Children’s Cinema. The budding Filmmakers are currently interviewing celebrities like Amole Gupte, Raveena Tondon, Nandita Das, Raj Kumar Santoshi etc .
Director Education Air Commodore (Rtd.) Shemrock School S K Sharma said at the moment that Shooting video is educational, exciting and a great thing for kids to do. By acting or directing for the camera children can enhance their creativity & presentation skills even further. Giving children exposure to do such activities will allow the same. Students will have freedom of experimenting with their own imaginative growth. As a child’s imagination develops, so does his or her social skills, learning abilities, communication skills and overall sense of well-being.
