Archit Watts, Chandigarh, August 13 : UT administration has decided to award 19 commendation certificates to the public and employees of the administration and 5 administrator’s police medal to police personnel on this Independence Day.
The certificates are given to them for rendering outstanding services in their respective fields of work.In arts field, Ankita Sharma and Akanksha Sharma have been selected for their outstanding performance.
Amarjit Singh Mavi, fireman Municipal Corporation; Roop Ram, superintendent, UT Secretariat; Rakesh Kumar MVI, State Transport Authority, Shams S.Z. Shaikh, Architect Urban Planning Department; PK Sridhar, State TB Officer-cum-SMO Health Department; Jaspal Singh, Electrician-cum-Light Operator, Tagore Theatre; Vidya Nand Singh; Head Constable Dilbag Singh, Constable Rajesh Kumar will be awarded Commendation Certificates for their Meritorious Services.
Rohit Bajaj, Lt. Col. J.S. Dhillon, Master Bhavdeep Singh Sachdeva have been selected for the award for their exceptional contribution in the field of Sports.
PC Sanghi, Dr. Nand Lal and Dr. Firoj Singh would also be given award for their exceptional works in Social Service.
Yogesh Kumar will be awarded for his contribution in the area of Art and Social Service.Ramneek Verma would be awarded for showing exemplary courage.
Police personnel will also be awarded with Administrator’s Police Medal for distinguished/meritorious services on this Independence Day. Inspector Gurdarshan Kaur, will be awarded for distinguished services and ASI Bhupinder Singh, Head Constable Ram Chander, Constable Laxman Singh and Constable Amrik Singh, will also be awarded for their meritorious services.
