Barinder Saluja, Chandigarh,Nov. 15 : Another lad of The Muscle Factory brings laurels to the city. Amarinder Singh Aulakh who have stood fourth in the recently concluded Mr. World Body Building Championship, held at Varanasi from 27th to 31st October, recalls it as the reward of hard work and workout for 6-8 hours daily at Bon Sante, local Body Building Hub which has produced lot of champions in the history. Representing the Chandigarh Amateur Body Building Association, Chandigarh, Amarinder managed a fourth place out of 45 categories of the championship fighting it out against toughest Body Builders of Afghanistan, Iran, Ukraine and many other countries. Previously he has won the local events as Mr. University & Mr. Chandigarh contests & second place at 11th Federation Cup held at Jaipur on 27th Sept. On asking that what is the key to his success, he said that regular workout, rich diet and perfect guidance. It was the intake of High Protein diet in the from of 15-20 Eggs per day, nutritious food & Body Building Suppliments along with systematic workout, which made my body muscular and competitive, said Amarinder.
On this facilitation function, Mr. Harmohan Dhawan, former Union Minister, presented him a Shawl and Cash amount of Rs.51,000/= as token of appreciation and congratulated Amarinder and efforts of Chandigarh Amateur Body Building Association by presenting a shawl to President Mr. Sunil Walia & the Coach cum Gen. Secretary Mr. Anil Kumar. He also said that the fate of sports in India is deteriorating day by day and the cause of the pathetic state of sports is due to Indian Politicians. Politics and corruption has totally demolished the sports of India.
President of the Association, Mr. Sunil Walia, told the press that this is the first time that a Chandigarh boy has bagged such high rank in any of the World Championship ever. He is very much confident about the future of this boy as he said that he is young, just 20 years old, & has lot of potential, as his muscle’s are quite rich & young. Mr. Sunil further said that this boy will definitely bring laurels for his city & country in the coming future. It was after a gap of 22 years that the Indian Federation bagged 2 Golds at this time’s World Championship, after Premchand Dhingra who did it in 1986.
