Chandigarh, March 21; Photography workshop was organized for the media and photography students of from Bapu Dham Colony supported by Oxfam India and Yuvsatta. The workshop is introduced as a part of Project Bridge that is a facilitation program for adolescents to create change makers by bridging the gaps in holistic learning, demanding rights, peace building, upgrading their skills and knowledge, thus creating environment for active citizenship. The main focus of this workshop was on Child State in Chandigarh and ten different locations were chosen in this regard that shows high number of child state.
The photographs clicked by students will be exhibited at Sukhna Lake by end of this month. Workshop was facilitated by Ms. Madhu Pandit a professional photographer, guided the students about taking variety of pictures. Number of professional tips were also explained which also led into certain different skill development activities followed by awareness about the state of child. Summing up the initiative Mr. Anil student incharge said that such workshops are a great initiative for the students to learn more about state of child and getting knowledge about photography as a medium of public awareness.
