Chandigarh, September 15: Students & youth of the state has made up their mind to vote for INLD in the coming Vidhan Sabha elections as it is the only party which has promised to take up the students cause and solving their problems, said Indian National Students Organisation (INSO) Haryana unit state president Vikas Rathee. He was addressing a students meeting belonging to the state of Haryana at Panjab University on Tuesday.
INSO state president said that students are enthusiastic about the elections as INLD has promised Rs 3000 monthly allowance to all the senior secondary pass unemployed youth and to provide free education to all students up to graduation including the professional courses like engineering/medical colleges etc. INLD has promised to start students’ union elections in all the colleges and universities, which would help in providing the leadership to the students and solving their problems at the local level. He ridiculed the Congress government for not fulfilling its election promise of holding students union elections in all the colleges and universities of the state despite the Lyngdoh Commission recommendations to this regard.
The girls have a special reason to be happy as all the needy girls studying in the colleges would be given two-wheeler so that they may continue their studies, INSO leader added.
Mr Rathee said that fifty percent jobs in private sector would be reserved for the state youth after forming the INLD government in the state. Students have welcomed the other major announcement in INLD manifesto as per which the party has promised to get all the interviews video graphed and declaration of results on the same day on internet. The education system would be improved and the level of education would be improved also, which has deteriorated in the last 5 years of Congress rule, he added.
Students leader said that two new Medical colleges at Karnal & Ahirwal, one university will be established at Ahirwal after forming the INLD government in the state, which will go a long way for the eradicating the educational backwardness of the South Haryana region. Regional centers of the Universities will be opened in all the districts, he added.
