The India Post, Panchkula,30th December 2008 : At Youth Hostel, Sector 3, Panchkula. The Festival aimed to provide complete and accurate education on Human Sexuality, Sexual & Reproductive Health & Rights (SRHR) and HIV/AIDS through various kinds of activities as under –
• Poster making competition on Social and Health related issues between school children (adolescents) and college going students;
• Skit show on HIV/AIDS – how it spreads and its preventive measures by a team of FPAI Youth Volunteers;
• Quiz Competition on General Knowledge on Social & Health Related Issues and HIV/AIDS;
Besides Games like Ring Game, Foonk Game, Ball and Buckets, throw Ball & Break Boxes, Dare Games etc and Dance Competition, Slogan Competition by School/College students/Youth volunteers Competition & Rangoli Competition by MSM and School College students.

Youth Festival was attended by 150 participial comprises School student (Boys and Girls), MSM, and NGOs. Ms Braynts from South Africa, who came to make a research of HIV/AIDS Projects in India, also visited the festival and appreciated the mode of spreading the awareness through different kinds of activities/game/skit play etc.
Mr. O.P. Singh, Director Sports & Youth inaugurated the Youth Festival. Mrs. Veena Monga chaired the programme. Mrs. Pushpa Khanna, Honorary Treasurer of the Branch and Ms. Adarsh Chand, Ms. Geeta Sahney, Ms. Saveeta Jindal from Inner Wheel Club, Panchkula were the Guests of Honors. Mr. O.P. Singh, Director Sports & Youth in his address appreciated the efforts of the Branch to creates the awareness and provide accurate and complete knowledge on Sexual Reproductive Health and Rights (SRHR) and HIV/AIDS through different kinds of activities. , Mrs. .Veena Monga President of Branch paid a warm welcome to the chief Guest and appreciated the program
IEC stall was put at the festival under the supervision of Two Counselors of TI Projects who provided one to one information and knowledge on – What is HIV causes of HIV infection – symptoms – its preventive measures, what is Sexual; Transmitted Infections (STI) and Importance of Condom. IC material i.e. poster, booklets, broacher on HIV/AIDS and six monthly general of the branch entitled population education news (PEN) and Condoms were distributed to the participated
Net-working meeting with Three Local NGOs and Awareness Camp on HIV/AIDS, IEC Stall on HIV/AIDS were conducted by the TI Project for MSM (men having sex with men) HACS, Panchkula..
Community events i.e. IEC Stall, Dance for MSM Community, Quiz Competition on HIV/AIDS, and Mehndi Competition were conducted by TI Project for MSM HACS, Panchkula. The main attraction at the Festival was Skit Play on HIV/AIDS named “SURKSHA MEIN HI RAKSHA” performed by MSM community of TI Project for MSM, HACS,Panchkula.
Prizes/Trophies were given to the Winners of different game and skit players by the President Mrs. Veena Monga, Honorary Treasurer Mrs. Pushpa Khanna & Mr. Manoj Kumar, Branch Manager of the Branch.
