PANCHKULA, NOV 20 : The Annual Function of Holy Child was held at the Indradhanush Auditorium in Sector 5 in Panchkula on Thursday.Panchkula Deputy Commissioner and District Magistrate Rajender Kataria was the chief guest and former Haryana Chief Secretary SD Bhambri presided over the function.
After lighting the inaugural lamp and Principal N Trehan’s address, an eye-pleasing Lotus Dance (vandana) was perfomed by the students. A variety of cultural programme was presented on the occasion.
Skit in Hindi and English, a mime show, a musical performance, a Goan Carnival and Western Dance etc. The annual function will culminate with Shoulder-to -Shoulder-School Choir were appreciated by the audience.
It may be mentioned that the Holy Child School students gave an outstanding performance in the Regional Level Central Board of Secondary Eduction Science exhibition held at Jainendra Public School and qualified with 47 marks out of 50 in the sub-theme "Water Management, coming first in this category. The Holy Child School also excelled in various sports disciplines.
