New Delhi, Feb 1- and All India Freedom Fighters Successors organization, Satya Nand Yajee today expressed his deep shock and sorrow on the passing away of Ch. Ranbir Singh Hooda, who was the father of Haryana Chief Minister, Mr. Bhupinder Singh Hoodda.
In a condolence message issued here today, he said that Ch. Ranbir Singh was an embodiment of sacrifice, selfless service and struggle who had made a great contribution during the freedom struggle of India and had gone to jail many times during the freedom struggle.
He said that even after born in a simple farmer family, Ch. Ranbir Singh had rose to the high offices of public servant and had remained minister during joint Punjab and Member of Parliament.
He reminded that Ch. Ranbir Singh had raised the voices of the people and poor sections of the society and incorporated their sentiments in the constitution. Ch. Ranbir Singh was a great Arya Samaji and social reformer who had got his early education from Gurukul Bhainswal Kalan.
The main aim of Ch. Ranbir Singh was to serve the people. He also participated in the Quit India Movement launched by Mahatma Gandhi in 1942 and was arrested and put in Multan jail in Pakistan. The Father of the Nation had praised the services of Ch. Ranbir Singh.
He sent their heartfelt condolence to the bereaved family and prayed the almighty that the departed soul may rest in peace.
