November 23, 2009 : To facilitate Anganwari Workers and Helpers, ‘Janshree Bima Yojna’ had been started in all Anganwari Centres in the State.
Smt. Sarveen Chaudhary, Social Justice and Empowerment Minister stated this while presiding over the meeting of representatives of Anganwari Workers Sangh, under the banner of Bharitya Mazdoor Sangh here today.
Under Janshree Bima Yojna a sum of 30,000 will be provided to Anganwari Workers and Helpers in case of natural death, Rs. 75,000 in case of death due to accident or complete disability and Rs. 37,500 in case of partial disability, said Smt. Choudhary.
The Minister assured the Sangh that their demands would be considered sympathetically.
Shri Surender Thakur, President, Bhartiya Mazdoor Sangh urged the Minister to occasionally hold such meetings.
Earlier, Director, Social Justice and Empowerment Shri Manish Garg welcomed the Minister and detailed about the demands of the Sangh.
Principal Secretary, Social Justice and Empowerment, Shri Prem Kumar, Chairperson of Anganwari Employees Association, Smt. Shanti Chauhan and other office bearers of the Sangh from different districts were present on the occasion.
