Bhopal:May 23:In the fast changing scenario, Madhya Pradesh government has accepted importance of computer. With this in view, principals and lecturers of government educational institutions are being imparted training of latest gadgets. The benefit of School Education Department’s training would be extended to the people of entire state.
At present, 20 principals and as many lecturers of every division are being imparted training. This training programme was given final touches by Principal Secretary School Education Shri M.M. Upadhyay and Commissioner Public Instructions Shri B.R. Naidu. The purpose of the scheme is to make government schools fully capable.
During the first phase, the benefit of computer training was extended to 34 principals and lecturers of Bhopal division from May 19 to 24. They learnt various computer programmes at Microsoft I.T. Academy situated at the P.G.B.T. campus. The second phase of training would be organised between May 26 and 31 for Gwalior division, from June 2 to seven for Sagar, from June nine to 14 for Jabalpur, from June 16 to 21 for Indore and another round of training for Bhopal division from May 23 to 28.
Importantly, complete arrangements have been made for checking the justification and benefit of the training so that this effort of improving school education does not end up as a mere formality. For this task, Joint Director of School Education of Bhopal division, Dr. O.P. Sharma has been deputed. He took detailed information from the under training principals and lecturers. Meanwhile, academy administration has also admitted that the trainees have the right tendency to grasp training and they would certainly gain a lot during the six-day training.
