By : Pardeep Luthra, Batala Oct 6:- Batala police managed to arrest the remaining three robbers who were wanted in the Rs. 13.98 lakh robbery in the State bank of India Srio hargobindpur branch on Monday evening.
The senior superintendent of police Batala Gurkirpal Singh told the media persons that a police party jointly led by CIA Staff Incharge Naurang Singh, SHO Sadar police station Preetinder Singh and SHO Sri Hargobindpur Arwinder Singh laid a naka near Madi Buchian village where they nabbed three persons who were identified as Baghel singh , a resident Sahari village, Baljinder Singh, a resident of Dula Nangal and Baljit singh, a resident of shakri village and Rs.6.48 Lakh and a sharp edged weapons were recovered from them.
He said that police has already been arrested Hardip Singh and Gurmeet Singh on Wednesday and Rs. 7.50 lakh and a pistol was recovered from them.
He claimed that police was managed to solved the whole bank robbery case within a record time of 72 hours.
He said that Police also investigating the whole case with its sincere efforts as the culprits failed to provide the two motorcycles which was used in the committing of crime .Beside , two mobile phones and hard disk of CCTV cameras which were stolen by them from the bank.
He said that negligent police officers and employees of the bank would not be spared and police would register a case of negligence against those who would found negligent .
