8 Nov : With all the top honours of rifle shooting under his belt, India’s first individual Olympic gold medallist Abhinav Bindra says he is reflecting on his future as a shooter and would rely on his "inner voice" to take a call on it.
"It boils down to what I need to do and what my inner desire tells me," said the ace shooter, who is also the reigning World Champion in the men’s 10 meter air rifle event.
"Last week, I was reflecting on my past, what I have in the last 15 years, my possible future, but I need more time to find my inner voice," he said.The 26-year-old son of an affluent Chandigarh-based businessman said that he has many options available at hands, including some sporting ones.
"I am trying to decide what I want to do. I have many options at hand, including the sporting ones, and I hope soon I will be able to take a path I’ve desired to be associated with," he said.
