By Madhup. Chandigarh, 22nd Nov: Callaway Golf has announced that they had entered into a 3 year agreement with CGA (Chandigarh Golf Association) with a common objective of growing the game in India. This agreement includes specific attention to continuing the development of the already successful junior programs at CGA by providing access to Callaway Golf’s global best practices, premium equipment and resources.
The association was announced at an event jointly hosted by Callaway Golf and Chandigarh Golf Association (CGA) at CGA Golf Range and was attended by prominent figures like Jagdeep Singh Cheema, President, Chandigarh Golf Association, Ashwani Sharma, Secretary CGA, Vivek Mehta, Country Head, Callaway Golf India, Jesse Grewal, Callaway Golf Brand Ambassador and other leading golf personalities.
During this partnership event Country Head and GM of Callaway Golf India, Vivek Mehta said, “With golf now in the 2016 Rio Olympic Games, we’ll be seeing a stronger focus on the identification and development of golf talent in India, and we can look to the CGA to produce India’s future golf stars. Callaway is looking forward to a fruitful association with CGA, which has one of the busiest driving range in the country, to promote the sport.”
