INDIANAPOLIS, JULY 24
The Sikh Satsang of Indianapolis is organizing an Interfaith Memorial Service on August 8 from 7 to 9 p.m at The Sikh Gurdwara, Acton Road, to commemorate the First Anniversary of the massacre of innocent Sikhs last August at the Sikh Temple in Oak Creek, Wisconsin.
Representatives of faith communities, civic leaders, law enforcement officers, and members of the Sikh and other faith communities will be in attendance, according to Sikh Satsang of Indianapolis president Maninder Singh Walia.
The event is open to the public.
