Nagaland : Dr. Chumben Murry, Agriculture Minister, Nagaland grace the Silver Jubilee celebration of Mt. Carmel School, Wokha Village.
Attaining 25th years of its existence, the Minister congratulates the School, while he exhorting the gathering as chief guest said, Jubilee is a celebration but it doesn’t fulfill all – if came across one Jubilee will look for another celebration, therefore well prospective planning is require for the next. On securing & earning good name requires parents to play more roles which equally shares its credit to the administration of the School (Institution).
Citing three components for a good institution, Dr. Chumben choose, human development which is the best and the most important among the two infrastructure development and economic status of the institution, He added.
Speaking on child education, Murry target the age group from 3 – 8 years which is the most important beyond these are age regarded as matured/understand, therefore urging all parents to educate their child before the schooling education.
Pointing towards the higher classes of student Dr. Chumben suggests to – select what is like and what is necessity, investing in education is like depositing in the bank. Finally, he encouraged the students to be hard work in their studies.
Earlier the programme was chaired by Mrs. Mhonchumi Humtsoe, Mt. Carmel High School where Invocation and presentation of song(Rise & Shine) by Shri. Thungben Kikon, Pastor (WVBC) and School Choir.
According to Mt. Carmel School, Administrator, Ms. Erenbeni Kikon, the School is a project under Wokha Village Baptist Church (WVBC) but through an MOU signed for 15 (fifteen years) now the School is being look after by the Metatriqs Youth Centre (MYC).
