Additional Solicitor General Satya Pal Jain Pays Obeisance as Chief Guest
Chandigarh, February 12, 2025: A grand event was organized at PGI to mark the birth anniversary of Shri Guru Ravidas Ji. The celebration witnessed the presence of Additional Solicitor General of India, Satya Pal Jain, who paid obeisance to Guruji as the chief guest.
The event was graced by prominent personalities, including Jaspal Singh, Satish Garg, cardiologist Dr. Neelam Dahiya, Mamta Dogra, and hundreds of devotees, all of whom gathered to seek blessings and commemorate Guru Ravidas Ji’s teachings.
Addressing the gathering, Mr. Jain emphasized that Shri Guru Ravidas Ji is a spiritual guide for all humanity, beyond the boundaries of caste and creed. He highlighted Guruji’s teachings of equality, unity, and welfare, urging everyone to follow his path of righteousness.
Mr. Jain also praised the efforts of Shri Guru Ravidas Sabha, which has been dedicated to serving humanity by providing accommodation and assistance to patients coming from across the country for treatment.
During the event, Shri Guru Ravidas Sabha felicitated Satya Pal Jain, Jaspal Singh, social worker Satish Garg, industrialist Kishore Chahal (Phagwara), cardiologist Dr. Neelam Dahiya, and Mamta Dogra for their contributions. They all pledged their continued support to the Sabha in its humanitarian initiatives.
Speaking on the occasion, Sabha President Premchand, Chief Patron Sardar Uttam Singh, and Chairman Dr. R.P. Singh announced that the birth anniversary of Bharat Ratna Dr. B.R. Ambedkar will also be celebrated with grandeur on April 14, 2025.
The event concluded on a high note, with devotees reflecting on Guru Ravidas Ji’s timeless wisdom and commitment to equality and social harmony.
