Chandigarh, February 9, 2025 – The 42nd Senior State Softball Championship (Men & Women) concluded at the Sports Complex, Manimajra, Sector-13, Chandigarh, showcasing intense competition and remarkable performances from top teams.
Men’s Section Results:
The championship witnessed fierce matches in the men’s section. In the first semi-final, Mahadev Club dominated Friends Club with a convincing 5-0 victory, while Striker Club outclassed CCC with a 10-0 win in the second semi-final.
In the much-anticipated final, Mahadev Club delivered a commanding performance, defeating Striker Club 10-0 to claim the championship title. Meanwhile, in the third-place match, CCC secured a hard-fought 5-3 win over Friends Club.
Women’s Section Results:
In the women’s final, Mission Club put on a stellar display, overpowering Striker Club 6-1 to lift the trophy. The battle for third place was an intense encounter, where CCC edged past Dream Girl Club with a narrow 1-0 victory.
The championship showcased outstanding talent and sportsmanship, reaffirming Chandigarh’s growing prowess in softball. Players and teams were lauded for their exceptional performances, and the tournament concluded on a high note with winners celebrating their well-earned victories.
