Archit Watts , Mohali, August 6 : A Mohali based education group “Aryans Group of Institutes” is going to start two new business schools namely Aryans Institute of Management (AIM) and Aryans Business School for Women (ABSW) from the current academic session (2009-10).
The Group has already three Management Institutions – Aryans Business School (ABS), Aryans School of Management (ASM) and Aryans Institute of Management and Technology (AIMT) in Village Nepra (Banur), Chandigarh-Patiala Highway, near Chandigarh. The group started its operations in 2007.
In a press conference held in a local hotel, Aryans Group Chairman, Anshu Kataria said that Aryans Institutes of Management and Aryans Business School for Women would offer full time MBA programme with intake of 60 Seats each. Out of the above seats two third seats are to be filled through MET and one third through management quota. The counselling for the two third MET seats is already going on in the Punjabi University, Patiala.
This would be a small step towards raising the level of education for women and making them self-sufficient, Kataria added.
Dr. Parveen Kataria, Prof. D C Kataria, Dr. D P Singh, Dr.A.S.Balgir and Dr. Manjit Kalra were also present in the conference.
