CHANDIGARH, AUG 27 :Patiala secured a valuable 58-run first-innings lead over Mohali on the second day of the Punjab Inter-District Under-19 Cricket Tournament for Dhruv Pandove Trophy at the Dhruv Pandove Stadium in Patiala today.In reply to Mohali’s first innings total of 260 all out in 93.4 overs, Patiala resumed their innings at the overnight score of 6 for no loss.Bolstered by a strokeful century by Jeevanjot (102), Patiala were piled up 318 all out in 95 overs. Jeevanjot’s ton was studded with eight well executed boundaries. Vikramdit (42), Himanshu (39), Gauravpreet (28) and Sahil (28) were their other main run getters.
For Mohali, Jaskaran and Harpreet got three wickets each for57 and 93 runs, respectively. Gunjot chipped in with 2 for 93.
Trailing by 58 runs on first-innings, Mohali were 5 for no loss in one over at the draw of stumps for the day.
