Jorawer Singh, Chandigarh, September 13, 2009: The students, who have marked incorrect selections or made other errors while their on-line registration for this year’s CAT examination of the Indian Institute of Management (IIM), have been allowed to make amendments in their Profile. From the evening of September 18 and up to October 8, 2009, the candidates will be able to reschedule their CAT Exam date, may request for their Admit Card to be re-sent, and can update their Profile including personal details such as address, application data, educational information, interview location etc. Candidates may also claim for the refund of the second voucher also, if purchased additionally for correcting registration errors.
CAT 2009 test to be conducted for the first time on-line, is scheduled between November 28 and December 7, 2009 and is expected to be taken by over 300 thousand MBA aspirants. In Punjab region two private B-Schools namely Aryans Business School (ABS) and CMTR in addition to Panjab University, Panjab Agriculture University and Lovely Professional University, have been registered as Non-IIM Member.
“IIMs have taken a good step in order to mitigate the inconvenience faced by the students.” said Anshu Kataria, Chairman of a local business school.
