Chandigarh, April 1- The price of Gwar was upto Rs 27,000 per quintal and this handsome price has motivated the farmers of Haryana to take up its cultivation in a big way.
While stating this today, a spokesman of the Agricultural Department said that Cultivation of Gwar is fast picking up in district Sirsa as various ‘Mandis’ of the district have received 5.50 lakh quintals of Gwar during this season and it has resulted in revenue receipt of more than Rs 4.26 crore for the government.
