Chandigarh: BJP National Executive Member and Co-Incharge of BJP Himachal Pradesh, Sanjay Tandon, emphasized the importance of social service and charity while speaking at an event organized by Narayan Seva Sansthan in Sector 49, Chandigarh. The event, aimed at supporting differently-abled individuals, witnessed a large turnout, with many attending the Narayan Limb and Caliper Measurement Camp.
Call for Collective Social Responsibility
Tandon urged people to contribute a portion of their earnings to help the underprivileged, stating, “Charity is the highest virtue, and it brings profound inner satisfaction. If those who are capable do not step forward to help, the underprivileged will be left behind.”
₹1 Lakh Donation for a Noble Cause
Recognizing the remarkable work of Narayan Seva Sansthan, Tandon announced a donation of ₹1 lakh to support their efforts in providing artificial limbs to differently-abled individuals and reintegrating them into society.
Measuring Camp for Artificial Limbs
The event included a measurement camp where the organization’s medical team assessed individuals for Narayan Limbs and Calipers. Key attendees included:
