5TH NOVEMBER, 2024, GIDDERBAHA : In a fervent campaign trail that covered Kotli Ablu, Chotian, Sahib Chand, Bhaaru, and Gidderbaha City, Amrita Warring, Indian National Congress’ MLA candidate for Gidderbaha, delivered a powerful message to the people. Emphasizing her deep-rooted connection to the constituency, she expressed her unwavering commitment to Gidderbaha’s development while issuing a scathing critique of the Aam Aadmi Party and their candidate, Hardeep Singh Dimpy Dhillon.
“Gidderbaha is not just a constituency for me; it is family,” Amrita Warring stated, addressing a gathering of residents. “I have always worked here without ever caring about political gains, and now, I am glad that I could have the opportunity to officially represent Gidderbaha in the Vidhan Sabha. This will be an honor which I take very seriously. My efforts will always be for the welfare and progress of my people.”
In a pointed criticism of AAP, Warring underscored the party’s failures in governance and the detrimental impact they’ve had on Punjab. “AAP has truly changed Punjab – but for the worse,” she remarked. “They took away the subsidy on electricity provided by Congress, allowing drugs to infiltrate households across the state. They’ve dismantled law and order, turned a blind eye to the suffering agriculture sector, and destroyed Punjab’s stability. Is this the ‘change’ AAP promised?”
Addressing her political opposition, Amrita Warring attacked AAP candidate Hardeep Singh Dimpy Dhillon saying. “When Hardeep Singh Dimpy Dhillon claims he will do what the rest of the 92 MLAs couldn’t, he’s admitting that the AAP government has utterly failed Punjab. This confession reveals the truth about AAP’s inability to govern effectively and their neglect towards the state’s needs.”
Amrita Warring also highlighted the relentless tactics of AAP in attempting to intimidate her supporters. “AAP is trying to scare and threaten the people of Gidderbaha ahead of my events. This only reveals their own fears and desperation,” she stated. “They want to misuse the government’s power to manipulate the people. But Gidderbaha will not be fooled by leaders like Manpreet Badal and Dimpy Dhillon, who deserted their people for personal gain.”
Answering questions regarding PPCC Chief Amarinder Singh Raja Warring, Amrita affirmed his commitment to the people of Punjab as a whole. “Though Raja Warring now represents Ludhiana as an MP, he speaks for the entire state and has been a champion for Punjab in the Parliament. As the President of the Punjab Congress, he has never hesitated to stand up for the people of Gidderbaha and beyond, fighting for every issue that affects our communities.”
Amrita Warring’s campaign today reached Kotli Ablu, Chotian, Sahib Chand, Bhaaru, and Gidderbaha City, where she was met with an enthusiastic response from residents eager for her to be the representative of the constituency. Her determination to work for Gidderbaha and hold AAP accountable resonates strongly as she works tirelessly to represent the constituency with integrity and dedication.
