CHANDIGARH-March 14, 2012: The Department of Education is organizing two-day National Seminar on ‘Adolescents Dilemma: A Challenge’ on March 16 and 17, 2012 at Golden Jubilee Hall, P.U. Campus. The seminar will be inaugurated by Prof. R.C. Sobti, Vice-Chancellor, P.U. at 10 a.m. Dr. S.S. Dahiya, Director State Institute of Education, Chandigarh will be presenting the key-note address.
There will be four technical sessions on the themes – At Crossroads- Transition from school to college, Know Thyself- Importance of knowing one’s aptitude, Unlearning to learn- Effective study habits and study skills and Walking the talk-Career planning and occupational choices. Research scholars will be making research paper presentations. The valedictory function of the seminar will be held on March 17, 2012 at 12.30 p.m. Prof. Nandita, Chairperson, Department of Education informed
The dilemma in youths is likely to increase because the affairs of this nation has been taken care of by the Politicians, not Statesmen, since after the socalled liberty, which is yet to come in this country.
Therefore it is the dire demand of the day that Statesmen, not politicians must rule this nation,as there is a vast difference between the mind sets of Politicians & Statesmen indeed.
And there must be a debate in this regard too, so that the youth can be pulled out from this state of dilemma at an earliest—dr.amritgaur
