Chandigarh, March 20, 2025 – The Central Placement Cell (CPC) of Panjab University organized its annual “Industry-Academia Meet” at the Law Auditorium, Panjab University, Chandigarh. The event witnessed participation from over 550 students across 39 departments and featured esteemed industry experts who provided valuable insights into career development and industry trends.
Distinguished industry leaders in attendance included Mr. Vikas Verma, Regional Head – North Region, UNDP India; Mr. Sachin Gulati, Head of India Campus Recruitment, American Express; Mr. Rahul Markande, Zonal Head for Third-Party Product Distribution, Yes Bank; Mr. Pawan Wadhawan, Director & Chief Marketing Officer, Sipcon Technologies Pvt. Ltd.; and Mr. Deepak Rana, Regional Head, HDFC Life. The dignitaries also unveiled the official poster for “AVSAR,” Panjab University’s flagship placement drive, scheduled for April 3rd and 4th, 2025.
