Chandigarh: The Himalayan Foundation, Chandigarh, the youth wing of The Himalayan Club Trust, a public charitable trust, proudly announces the success of its flagship literary event — Litverse: The Literary League. The NGO, known for its tireless efforts across social welfare, mental health advocacy, animal rights, and community upliftment, added yet another feather to its cap with this vibrant celebration of literary excellence.
Litverse emerged as a dynamic two-day literary festival that brought together young minds and seasoned voices in a shared love for language, imagination, and creative expression. With a diverse array of events—debates, declamations, story writing, poetry recitations, and extempores—the event offered participants a platform to engage, express, and excel.
The first day was dedicated to the Under-18 category, showcasing spirited competitions in debate, declamation, storytelling, and poetry recitation. The second day expanded the celebration with an open extempore session for all age groups, encouraging spontaneous thought and eloquence.
Distinguished judges, Dr. Urvi Sharma and Dr. Deviyani Singh, graced the event with their presence, offering profound insights and encouragement to the budding talents.
The Foundation’s collaboration with local authorities ensured a smooth and community-conscious execution. The enthusiastic participation, coupled with literary brilliance on display, made Litverse a truly memorable experience.
The Himalayan Foundation extends heartfelt gratitude to its dedicated volunteers whose unwavering support and meticulous coordination were instrumental in making Litverse: The Literary League an inspiring success.
