Anjaneya Tewari, Chandigarh : Dr. Neha Miglani—an entrepreneur, educationist, and an Art of Living Teacher has been officially honoured with a State Award – Certificate of Commendation by the Hon’ble Shri Gulab Chand Kataria, Governor of Punjab and Administrator of U.T. Chandigarh. The award was presented on the eve of Independence Day 2026 at the Parade Ground in Chandigarh.
The prestigious state-level recognition honours Dr. Miglani for her notable contributions to the field of Art and Culture, as well as her sustained efforts towards youth empowerment and social development.
For nearly two decades, Dr. Miglani has been actively working with young people through meditation, wellness, and personal-development programmes, helping them overcome drug addiction and suicidal tendencies.
As a Senior Art of Living Teacher, she has successfully conducted meditation and wellness sessions for more than 30,000 young people and Gen Z individuals. Her initiatives are designed to encourage the younger generation to develop greater self-awareness, confidence, emotional balance, and a positive approach towards life.
Dr. Miglani’s impactful work in wellness and stress management has also extended into the public-service sector. She has conducted specialized sessions for over 1,700 Chandigarh UT Police personnel, focusing primarily on stress management, overall well-being, and practical techniques for maintaining mental and emotional balance in high-pressure environments.
Her unwavering commitment to youth empowerment over the past 20 years has earned her widespread recognition at both the national and international levels. Her journey is marked by several accolades acknowledging her vast contributions to education, media, youth development, and society at large.
The State Award presented by Governor Shri Gulab Chand Kataria marks another significant milestone in Dr. Miglani’s journey. The recognition acknowledges not only her professional achievements but also her long standing efforts to empower young people and contribute positively to society through Art and Culture, meditation, and wellness.
Speaking about the prestigious honour, Dr. Miglani said, “A recognition of this nature is an encouragement to continue working towards the empowerment of young people and creating a positive impact in society.”
