Chandigarh, July 15: Several entrepreneurs across India attempting to register their businesses under the Udyam MSME Registration portal have reported persistent technical issues. The problem arises specifically during the process “For New Entrepreneurs who are not Registered yet as MSME.”
After successfully verifying their Aadhaar and PAN details, applicants are encountering a recurring error message:
“Your investment and turnover detail has not received as #CBDT server is down. Please try after some time.”
Despite repeated attempts and delays, the issue remains unresolved for many. Some users claim to have been facing this error for several days, halting their efforts to obtain official Udyam registration certificates. Several applicants stated they have submitted complaints to the Ministry of MSME, but the issue has yet to be addressed effectively.
“This kind of persistent technical failure exposes the gaps in the so-called Digital India campaign,” said one affected applicant. “We expect a more reliable and responsive digital infrastructure, especially for something as vital as MSME registration.”
The error is believed to be linked to the CBDT (Central Board of Direct Taxes) server, which supplies PAN-linked financial data necessary for completing the registration.
Business owners and startup founders are urging the government to resolve the issue promptly and provide clear communication on timelines. As of now, there has been no official statement from the Ministry of MSME or the Udyam portal administrators.
The ongoing glitch not only delays business formalities but also affects entrepreneurs seeking to avail themselves of MSME-related benefits, subsidies, and bank support.
