NEW DELHI — New Delhi Municipal Council (NDMC) Chairperson Keshav Chandra congratulated students, teachers, principals, parents, and education department officials for the strong Class X results across the civic body’s schools.
Supriya Lohani of Atal Adarsh Vidyalaya, Kidwai Nagar, secured the top position among all NDMC school students, scoring an impressive 462 out of 500 (92.4 per cent) in the board examinations. Calling her achievement inspiring, Chandra said it reflects hard work, dedication, and proper guidance from teachers and parents.
He added that the overall performance of students and institutions reflects NDMC’s sustained efforts to provide quality education and ensure the holistic development of every child.
A Milestone in Education
In a significant milestone, all Atal Adarsh Vidyalayas under NDMC recorded a 100 per cent pass rate for the first time.
“This landmark success highlights the strong academic foundation, disciplined environment and commitment of the schools to excellence in education,” Chandra stated.
Furthermore, the Day Time School of NDMC, established for the welfare and education of dropout students, also achieved a 100 per cent pass rate. Chandra noted that this demonstrates the civic body’s inclusive approach and its effort to bring every child back into the mainstream of education.
He congratulated all stakeholders and said the results reflect the dedicated efforts of the NDMC Education Department in strengthening academic standards, modern teaching practices, and student support systems.
The New Delhi Municipal Council remains committed to enhancing educational infrastructure, digital learning facilities, skill development, and overall student welfare, so that its schools continue to set new benchmarks in academic excellence. Chandra concluded that the results reaffirm NDMC’s vision of creating empowered, educated, and responsible citizens for the future.
