Dr. Jitendra Singh, the Union Minister of State (Independent Charge) for Science and Technology, Minister of State (Independent Charge) for Earth Sciences, MoS PMO, Department of Atomic Energy and Department of Space, and MoS Personnel, Public Grievances and Pensions, has announced the results of the 15th round of the Australia-India Strategic Research Fund (AISRF). The press note issued today announced the successful initiatives that have been awarded funding under the esteemed programme. Australia-India Strategic Research Fund (AISRF) is a bilateral initiative that fosters collaborative research initiatives between the two countries. Its objective is to fortify the scientific partnership between the two nations and resolve shared obstacles by means of collaborative research endeavours. This year, the AISRF has provided funding to five initiatives that span a variety of disciplines, such as biotechnology, urban mining and electronic waste recycling, ultralow-cost solar, and clean hydrogen technologies. These projects were chosen through a rigorous evaluation process to guarantee that they adhere to the most stringent scientific standards and have the potential to make a substantial impact. The initiatives that have been chosen are indicative of the innovative and diverse research that is currently being conducted by scientists in Australia and India. It is anticipated that these initiatives will produce valuable insights and solutions that will be advantageous to both countries and the broader global community.
