Chandigarh, July 11, 2025: The Chandigarh Billiards and Snooker Association (CBSA) conducted its Executive Committee elections at the esteemed Chandigarh Club, ushering in a new team of office bearers to lead the association’s efforts in promoting cue sports across the region.
Held in a fair and transparent manner, the elections witnessed active and enthusiastic participation from members. The newly elected office bearers of CBSA are:
- President: Sr. Advocate Anand Chibbar
- Vice President: Dr. G.P. Thami
- Secretary: Ms. Jaswinder Kaur
- Joint Secretary: Mr. Sumit Talwar
- Joint Secretary: Mr. Ranveer Duggal
- Treasurer: Mr. Pankaj Bhatti
The newly elected committee expressed a strong commitment to revitalizing the sport with a strategic focus on nurturing talent, conducting quality tournaments, and enhancing billiards and snooker infrastructure in the region.
Outgoing Secretary Mr. Rakesh Duggal, a stalwart in the sport, congratulated the new team and wished them success. Acknowledged for his invaluable contribution, Mr. Duggal has been instrumental in shaping players who have represented Chandigarh with distinction at national and international platforms.
