On September 25, the Department of Mathematics at Panjab University, Chandigarh, in collaboration with the Central Placement Cell, organized an engaging induction-cum-sensitization session aimed at preparing students for campus placements. The event featured esteemed guests including Prof. Meena Sharma, Honorary Director of the Central Placement Cell, and Mr. Harshvir Singh Jaspal, Managing Director of Drish Infotech Ltd.
The session, led by Chairperson Ms. Suman Bala and Training and Placement Officer Dr. Manisha Sharma, provided students with valuable insights into the recruitment process, effective resume-building strategies, and essential interview techniques. Prof. Meena Sharma highlighted the importance of active participation in placement cell activities, while Mr. Jaspal inspired attendees with his life experiences, urging them, “Never lose a chance to volunteer,” which resonated deeply with the students.
