JALANDHAR: Demonstrating strong organizational unity and grassroots mobilization, the Jalandhar Urban Youth Congress organized a massive reception for Punjab Youth Congress President Shuvam Sharma across four different locations in the city.
Despite continuous heavy rainfall and a delay of nearly two hours in the State President’s arrival due to his ongoing tour schedule, hundreds of dedicated Youth Congress workers remained stationed with unwavering enthusiasm, waiting patiently in the rain to welcome their leader.
‘A Display of True Commitment’
The grand reception was hailed by local leaders as a strong reflection of the discipline and commitment of the Jalandhar Urban cadre.
Speaking to the media during the event, Angad Dutta, District President of the Jalandhar Urban Youth Congress, praised the resilience of the workers on the ground.
“The enthusiasm shown by our workers today reflects the commitment and unity of the Youth Congress in Jalandhar Urban. Despite heavy rain and a delay in the schedule, our workers remained present in large numbers. This spirit motivates us to work even harder to strengthen the organization and raise the voice of the youth across Jalandhar,” Dutta stated.
Ravi Saini, Vice President of the District Congress Committee (DCC) Jalandhar Urban, echoed this sentiment. He noted that the sheer enthusiasm displayed by the cadre, despite the highly adverse weather conditions, is a clear indicator of the Congress organization’s growing strength and appeal among the region’s youth.
