Kundan International School successfully organized a grand Health & Wellness Event under the prestigious “Mission Swasth Kawach”, a Central Government initiative, on April 13, 2026. The programme, being conducted for the first time in Chandigarh, marked a significant step towards promoting preventive healthcare and holistic well-being among students.
The event was held in collaboration with Dayanand Medical College & Hospital (DMC), Ludhiana, bringing together eminent medical professionals and healthcare experts on a common platform.
Dr. Suman Singh, Director of Health Services, Chandigarh, graced the occasion as the Chief Guest and emphasized the importance of preventive healthcare and early awareness among students. Several distinguished Guests of Honour, including senior doctors and specialists from reputed institutions, were also present.
A major highlight of the event was the participation of a team of 32 doctors, including experienced psychiatrists, who conducted informative and interactive sessions. These sessions covered key aspects such as physical health, mental well-being, emotional balance, and essential life-saving skills.
Students participated enthusiastically, engaging with experts, asking thoughtful questions, and gaining valuable insights into maintaining a healthy lifestyle. The initiative aimed at not only spreading awareness but also empowering students to make informed health choices.
