Chandigarh : The Dean Student Welfare (DSW) Office of Panjab University celebrated the birth anniversary of Guru Ravidas Ji with great reverence at Boys Hostel-4. The event witnessed the esteemed presence of Prof. Amit Chauhan, Dean Student Welfare, along with hostel wardens and residents.
Prof. Chauhan, while addressing the gathering, highlighted the profound teachings of Guru Ravidas Ji, emphasizing the values of truth, compassion, and equality. He encouraged the residents to imbibe these virtues in their lives and contribute towards a harmonious and inclusive society.
Earlier, Mr. Sartaj Singh, a resident of Boys Hostel-4, shared inspiring stories and teachings from Guru Ravidas Ji’s life, fostering a spirit of reflection and learning among attendees.
The event concluded with a vote of thanks by Dr. Naveen Kumar, Warden of Boys Hostel-4, followed by the distribution of prasad, which was enjoyed by all.
