CHANDIGARH — In a glittering ceremony held in the city today, Punjab Governor and UT Administrator Gulab Chand Kataria conferred the inaugural “Chandigarh Sangeet Natak Akademi (CSNA) Award-2024” to 11 distinguished personalities from the world of performing arts.
Leading the list of honorees was Rinku Kalia, the acclaimed national winner of Zee TV’s Sa Re Ga Ma, who was recognized for her outstanding contributions in the Light Music category. The prestigious award comprises a cash prize of Rs 51,000, a formal citation, and a traditional shawl.
Celebrating Musical and Theatrical Excellence The ceremony highlighted the region’s rich artistic diversity. Joining Kalia in the musical honors were Sukhi Brar, who was awarded in the Folk Music category, and Vinod Pawar, who took home the accolade for Classical Music.
