NEW DELHI: Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Sunday expressed his sincere gratitude to the leaders of all BRICS member and partner nations for making the much-anticipated Delhi summit a highly productive and outcome-oriented diplomatic gathering.
To mark the conclusion of the two-day summit, which was held on September 12 and 13, a highlight video reflecting key moments of the event was posted on the Prime Minister’s official social media handles.
“Thank you to all BRICS leaders for making the Delhi Summit very productive and outcome oriented,” PM Modi stated in the post accompanying the video. The clip also featured an excerpt from his summit address, emphasizing how India has consistently utilized the BRICS platform to advance friendship, partnership, and cooperation across the globe.
A Convergence of Global Leaders
The high-profile event saw the attendance of top global leaders from across the expanded BRICS bloc. Prominent attendees included Russian President Vladimir Putin, Chinese President Xi Jinping, Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian, and Abu Dhabi’s Crown Prince Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan.

Alongside the main multilateral sessions aimed at strengthening the global south and fostering economic cooperation, the Prime Minister engaged in extensive diplomatic outreach. PM Modi held 15 sit-down bilateral meetings with various heads of state and government over the course of the summit, further cementing India’s strategic partnerships on the sidelines of the massive event.
