NEW DELHI — The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) on Thursday welcomed the latest findings from Morning Consult, a reputed US-based data analytics firm, which ranked Prime Minister Narendra Modi as the world’s most popular leader.
According to the survey, conducted between March 2 and 8, PM Modi secured a commanding approval rating of 68 percent, keeping him well ahead of his global counterparts. Following the release of the data, several prominent BJP leaders stepped forward to express their pride and congratulate the Prime Minister.
Leaders from Uttar Pradesh highlighted both his domestic achievements and his impact on India’s global standing.
“Prime Minister Narendra Modi has always been the best, even during his tenure as the Chief Minister of Gujarat, and will continue to be the most popular leader in the world as the country’s Prime Minister,” stated Uttar Pradesh Deputy Chief Minister Keshav Prasad Maurya, emphasizing that the ranking reflects PM Modi’s lifelong dedication rather than just survey metrics.
Uttar Pradesh Minister Danish Azad Ansari echoed this sentiment, describing PM Modi as the “strongest leader in the world.” Ansari noted that under his leadership, India’s global stature has grown significantly, leading to major countries actively partnering with India on its path of progress. “The cordial relations he shares with world leaders have positively impacted India’s global image,” Ansari added.
The sentiment was shared across state lines and at the national level. BJP MP Praveen Khandelwal pointed out that this is a recurring trend for the Prime Minister, stating, “There is no doubt that Prime Minister Narendra Modi is the most popular leader in the world… Many leaders are keen to meet him and are inspired by him.” Maharashtra Minister Girish Mahajan also extended his congratulations, expressing immense pride in the Prime Minister’s continued global recognition.
