Chandigarh, March 12, 2025: The M15 Chandigarh ITF World Tour Tennis Men’s Tournament, featuring a prize purse of US$15,000, is being hosted by the Chandigarh Lawn Tennis Association (CLTA) at its Tennis Stadium in Sector-10, Chandigarh. Sponsored by HPCL-Mittal Energy Limited, the tournament is scheduled to run from March 10 to 16, 2025.
Top Seeds Progress to Pre-Quarterfinals
Top-seeded Jay Clarke (GBR) and second seed Karan Singh (IND) displayed dominant performances, securing their places in the Pre-Quarterfinals. Jay Clarke overpowered India’s Siddhant Banthia with a commanding 6-3, 6-2 victory, maintaining consistency and high-quality tennis throughout the match.
Meanwhile, second seed Karan Singh (IND) faced a stiff challenge from Italy’s Filiberto Fumagalli, a qualifier. Karan took the first set effortlessly at 6-0 but had to battle hard in the second, eventually sealing the match in a tie-breaker with a 7-6(4) scoreline.
